Chris Stalcup & The Grange is an Americana Rock band from Atlanta Georgia. The band finds it’s sound situated squarely in the middle of the Southern Rock mecca for which many of their songwriting influences reign tall. Stalcup’s songwriting has been referred to as “…early Mark Kozelek if he had an inspired weekend of Gram Parsons, whiskey and Stax ’45s”. Weaving tales of loss and heartache with the seasoned talent of the band’s members, bring to life an authentic Southern storytelling experience. Stalcup’s gritty vocals and all or nothing stage presence lead the band’s dynamics from a slow swampy sway to a full blown rock and roll free for all. Chris Stalcup & The Grange has opened for national acts Lucero and Shooter Jennings and is currently playing around the Southeast to support their new album, “Dixie Electric Company” on Dirtleg Records.
