Raised in Columbia, SC, Ricky Young has traveled a long and winding road to Nashville. As a former University of South Carolina alum and baseball player, he spent five years in the minor leagues.
In 2011, Young was discovered by a Grammy-winning producer while performing at a cancer benefit. The two hit it off and started working together on Young’s new album. The album is a collection of 16 songs with cuts by chart-topping songwriters Lee Brice, Jon Stone, Jeffery Steele and more.
